History
One of the city's most beautiful movie theaters can be found just a few steps from Hermannplatz. The stylish 1950s ambience and the first-class film selection make Neues Off a very special place. After our first opening at Yorck Kreuzberg, Neues Off is the second cinema to join Yorck Kinogruppe in 1979. At this point, little was left of the former cinema mile that Hermannstraße. The theater had spent many years as an adult cinema. But with a new name, a new focus and some work on the building, it gains new momentum. The fact that it is now a movie theater in its original splendor is thanks to a comprehensive restoration in the late 1990s, during which it gained its name. Since then, we have continued to care for it so that its unique flair will remain with the Neukölln neighborhood for many years to come.
