With his characteristically calm storytelling style, Sébastien Lifshitz traces the life of Claude Loir, spanning from his childhood in a modest family in the Pyrenees to his unexpected career as a porn performer in the 1970s. Loosely adapted from Loir's book "Confessions païennes_"_, the film also explores the acceptance of pornographic films in Paris during the 1960s and 1970s and how the emergence of AIDS transformed the lives of gay men.
