Bird's eye views

Documentary | 106 min | -

In the last 60 years, Germany has lost almost half of its birds. Nevertheless, no animal is so ubiquitous for us. There are countless species of birds, they can be found everywhere. They sit in hedges and trees, on roofs and balconies. But while the sky has no limits for them, their habitat on earth is becoming scarce. Birds are the first to sense the climate catastrophe and show us the deficits in our interaction with nature. The documentary shows how important birds are for the earth, the cycle of nature and therefore also for humanity.
