The two sisters, Alberta and Gabriella, run a prestigious tailor shop in Rome and are commissioned to work on a major film set in the 18th century. Not only do they have to contend with a tight deadline and a demanding project, but they also have their own problems to deal with: domestic violence, trouble with the children, and financial worries.
