“Ostkreuz” is the best-known and most successful photo agency in Germany. Founded in 1990 by photographers from the former GDR, today 20 photographers from East and West are organized within the agency. They all have different working methods and views, but one thing unites them: a humanistic view of the world and committed documentary photography. Maik Reichert's film sheds light on seven very different photographers and paints careful portraits of their shared passion for taking pictures.
