Koyaanisqatsi

Documentary

82 min

FSK 6

The film begins with shots of murals and a burning object that is not recognizable. The journey then begins from untouched nature to the hustle and bustle of the modern city. People rush through New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, the avalanches of cars stream by and buildings pile up above. Impressions of crumbling residential silos follow, buildings collapse, all accompanied by the beguiling and minimalist music of Philip Glass.
