L'état et moi

Drama | 85 min | -

For L'état et moi, Max Linz invents a composer named Hans List, who fought on the barricades of the Paris Commune in 1871 before coming to life again in the present. As sans papiers he moves through Berlin-Mitte. His composition "Die Miserable" is being rehearsed at the State Opera. He takes part incognito as an extra. Sophie Rois plays List and his nemesis, the judge Praetorius-Camusot, in a double role.
