Detroit in the near future: following the privatization of the police force, Detroit's fight against crime is in the hands of a megacorporation. The cyborg “RoboCop” is assigned to ensure law and order on the streets. To bring the humanoid robot to life, the brain of a mortally wounded police officer is implanted into it. But Murphy's memory is not completely erased during the transplant. Haunted by memories, RoboCop sets off on his own initiative in search of the murderers of his former self.
