Hatixhe and Shaban run a small farm in rural Kosovo. They have three daughters and live within a large extended family. When Shaban's brother betrays them, they lose their livelihood overnight. The only way forward leads to the capital. In Pristina, Hatixhe's wealthy sister takes the family in. What looks like help turns out to be quiet humiliation.
