Music television has disappeared – what remains are platforms that play a determinative role as tastemakers. Nevertheless, the music video continues to find novel ways to assert itself as a field for experimentation. For this program, we have assembled contemporary works that make full use of the format's potential: featuring animated worlds, performances and extraordinarily compelling montages of archival material, they create visual spaces that allow reality and fantasy to meet.
