Suspiria American Suzanne Bayon travels to Germany to take ballet lessons. Upon her arrival, however, she witnesses a woman fleeing the ballet school in a panic. Shortly thereafter, she meets the school's headmistress, who strikes her as peculiar. Over the next few days, eerie incidents begin to multiply: strange noises are heard at night, and the school is suddenly plagued by an infestation of insects. Several young dancers disappear, and after the school's pianist meets a mysterious, fatal end, Suzy begins to suspect that supernatural forces are at play. She starts investigating witchcraft and black magic, eventually uncovering the sinister history of the building itself...
