Halim and Mina run a traditional tailor's shop in the medina of Salé, one of the most primitive in Morocco. To meet the demands of their demanding clientele, they hire a talented young man named Youssef as an apprentice, but as time goes by, Mina notices how much Youssef's presence touches her husband and he seems to be attracted to him.
