THE REVOLUTION OF THE MUSES explores the forgotten role of muses in Western art history, reclaiming the voices of the women whose bodies and identities shaped some of its most iconic works. Clio is the muse, the model, and the sex worker. Through her encounters with artists such as Pablo Ruíz, Charles Baudelaire, and Cardinal Borghese, the film challenges the myth of the male artistic genius and exposes the power dynamics behind artistic creation.
