The death of his lover, for whom he left his wife and daughter, has hit Charlie hard. In the midst of his grief, he has developed an eating disorder which means that he now weighs 270 kilos and isolates himself from society as much as possible. But Charlie still longs for contact with one person: his seventeen-year-old daughter Ellie.
