The age of mining is drawing to a close in the Ruhr region. Prosper-Haniel is the last shaft still in use and will finally be closed for coal production in 2018. Christoph Hübner and Gabriele Voss began the film cycle "Prosper/Ebel - Chronicle of a Colliery and its Settlement" 40 years ago in the same colliery. Their new documentary now completes the cycle. They deal with the developments and upheavals of the industrial age.
