ZENTRALFLUGHAFEN - THF is not a film about refugees, but about contrasts. The refugees living in the seven hangars dream of a new start, a better life and an everyday life in Germany, while outside on the field at least as many residents of the city of Berlin try to escape their everyday lives every day. The focus of the film is Ibrahim from Syria, between German lessons, medical examinations and “conversations” with the German bureaucracy.
