Intermission

In more than six decades of German history, the Kino International has seen a lot, and sometimes even made history itself. However, the signs of the time have left their marks on the building. From May 14, 2024, the cinematic monument will therefore close for about two years for a complete renovation. 80 percent of the technical equipment will be renewed; every cable and every radiator in the building will be replaced.Until May 13, inclusive, you have the opportunity to experience a film at Kino International—either from our regular program or our special events. In the Panorama Bar, you can visit an exhibition with pictures of the house's history or our culinary offerings even without a movie ticket. You can leave your greetings to Kino International in our Digital Guestbook below.
