NULPEN portrays a young generation trying to navigate between a desire for freedom and the pressure of social responsibility. In a world full of uncertainty – marked by the climate crisis and growing resignation – their longing for lightheartedness becomes palpable.

The premiere will be followed by a discussion with the cast members Bella Lochmann, Pola Geiger, and Rio Kirchner; director Sorina Gajewski; cinematographer Hannes Schulze; editor Raffaéllo Lupperger; and other members of the cast and crew. The event will include a welcom adress by the BJF Youth Film Jury and a subsequent autograph session in the lobby.
