A year in the life of a family living in a typical courtyard in the center of Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, in the 1990s: Zina (45) lives here with her husband Victor (48) and their daughter Eva (16), struggling – like the other residents – to ensure her family’s financial survival. Through the family’s eyes, we experience a country in transition following the fall of the Iron Curtain.
