Following his multi-award-winning debut film FUTUR DREI, director Faraz Shariat presents PROSECUTION, an intense legal thriller about institutional racism that won multiple awards at its world premiere at the Berlinale. Provocative and angry, yet never without hope, the film tells a story of resistance and explores the question of whether a corrupt system can be saved from within.

This preview of PROSECUTION will be followed by a discussion with director Faraz Shariat, screenwriter Claudia Schaefer, author and journalist Ronen Steinke, and attorney and prosecutor Seda Başay-Yıldı. Moderated by journalist and ARTE culture editor Shila Behjat, with opening remarks by author and journalist Gilda Sahebi.
