Special Screening: Homeshopper's Paradise
Special screening of ProQuote Film in the presence of cast and crew
Feminist Time Travel enters its third season with a new concept. With six screenings, the 2026 feminist film series journeys through global FLINTA* film history, showcasing groundbreaking works and forgotten cinematic treasures each month and featuring conversations with exciting filmmakers. The highlight: Each evening is curated by a special curator* with an intersectional perspective and takes place at a different exciting venue in Berlin’s cinema scene.
The opening night on April 16 at the Passage Kino in Neukölln focuses on Black perspectives and takes place in cooperation with Schwarze Filmschaffende e.V. Actress, author, artist, and activist Lena Whooo will present “Homeshopper’s Paradise” in the presence of the director and cast. The comedy depicts the clash of two worlds: Lisa, a Black punk, and her friends are united in their fight against the bourgeoisie, capitalism, and state power. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Nancy Mac Granaky-Quaye.
