Melting glaciers, withered stretches of land, flooded towns and villages - climate change is also having a shocking effect in Europe. What are we humans doing to this wonderful planet? German cellist Tanja Tetzlaff plays J.S. Bach's Cello Suites Nos. 4 to 6 - in the midst of wounded nature scarred by climate change. Beauty meets its destruction. Do we really want to stand idly by?
Editor's note
We show the extraordinary film project by the renowned cellist Tanja Tetzlaff in her presence. For the film, she visited places with her cello that visibly bear the effects of climate change. Among others, she played the Bach Suites 4 & 5 live in the Harz Mountains, on the French Atlantic coast and the Aletsch glaciers. Tanja Tetzlaff will be awarded the OPUS Klassik in the category "Innovation Award for Sustainability" on October 8.
