The drama ALS WÄRE ES LEICHT, directed by Milan Skrobanek, shows how closeness can develop where others only see boundaries. It is the first German feature film production to cast people who are deaf or blind in real life in the leading roles.  We are showing the Berlin premiere in the presence of director Milan Skrobanek and the leading actors Cindy Klink and David Knors.

‎‎

The film will be shown with subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH). The audio description (AD) version is accessible via GRETA App .

‎‎

The screening is made possible thanks to the kind support of Charta der Vielfalt e.V. , Deutscher Schwerhörigenbund e.V. and Zentrum für Kultur und visuelle Kommunikation Gehörloser in Berlin & Brandenburg e.V.

About

Kati is deaf. Florian is blind. But when they meet, a language beyond words and glances emerges—a language of closeness. Their love seems impossible to outsiders, and that is precisely why it is so overwhelming. It is not silence or darkness that stands between them, but the effort to truly understand each other—and the courage to withstand everything again and again.
