Since 2010, Berlinale Goes Kiez_ _has been celebrating arthouse cinemas as the home of a vibrant film culture. As a sign of appreciation for the work undertaken by the operators of these cinemas, the red carpet is being rolled out in front of a different “Kiezkino” every day from February 18 to 24. The audience is invited to discover the diversity of the local cinema scene, to watch selected festival films and to meet international film teams in an informal setting.
