OnOn January 27, 2025, the Augen auf Kinotag will take place for the first time to commemorate the victims of National Socialism - in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main and Rostock. A top-class program with guests, audience premieres, panel discussions & school cinema invites you to remember, to exchange ideas and to meet. Because there is only one answer to the question, what does the past matter to me: everything.
16.30 A REAL PAIN
Special event presented by Fabian Grischkat (Newsfluencer, activist & journalist). With an introduction by Marina Chernevsky (Zentrale Wohnfahrtstelle der Juden, Head of Competence Center). Moderated by Dominik Porschen (entertainer, web video producer and musician)
19.30 Audience premiere: DAS KOSTBARSTE ALLER GÜTER
With a keynote by Erica Zingher (journalist & podcaster), as well as an introduction by Dr. Andrea Despot (Chairwoman of the Board of the Foundation EVZ) and Dr. Dennis Riffel (jury member, Gegen Vergessen e.V.). This will be followed by a panel on the topic “What does the past matter to me? Everything!” with director and Oscar winner Michael Hazanavicus, Dr. Lea Wohl von Haselberg (film scholar & program director of the Jewish Film Festival Berlin-Brandenburg), Lea van Acken (actress) and Leonie Schöler (historian, journalist, author).
