The child prodigy turns 60! At the tender age of 13, Anne-Sophie Mutter was discovered by star conductor Herbert von Karajan. A world career followed. She does not appreciate questions about her private life. So how does one portray such an exceptional artist? Filmmaker Sigrid Faltin chose the approach of putting the artist in unusual conversational situations to allow access through dialogue. She talks at length about the early death of her husband and her life as a single musician.
