In memory of Rosa von Praunheim, who passed away in December, we are once again showing his film about gay subculture in Berlin, which broke taboos in 1971 and helped found the West German gay rights movement. It remains a provocative, angry manifesto and a milestone in queer visibility. We already miss Rosa.  The screening will be preceded by a Q&A with lead actor Bernd Feuerhelm in German. We therefore kindly ask you to arrive on time.

About

After a disappointing marriage-like relationship with Clemens and an equally disappointing friendship with an older man, Daniel becomes what he never wanted to be: just like the other gay men, he too begins to change partners quickly. At the same time, he still tries to uphold his ideals and motivate his circle of acquaintances politically so that they stand up for their homosexuality in public and fight for equal treatment.
