How can the Holocaust be portrayed on film? What are the benefits of the perpetrator perspective: what can we learn from it, when is it problematic?

These questions will be addressed after the film by panel participants Andrea Genest (Director, Ravensbrück Memorial), Deidre Berger (Partner/Program Director of the Tikvah Institute gUG and Chair of the Board of the Jewish Digital Cultural Recovery Project Foundation) and Christoph Hesse (Film scholar at the Leibniz-Zentrum for Literary and Cultural Research).

Moderated by Clara Frysztacka (Consultant for Contemporary History, Heinrich Böll Foundation) and Hannah Sprute (Research Associate, Netzwerk Zeitgeschichte).

The Heinrich Böll Foundation, together with the Ravensbrück Memorial and the Netzwerk Zeitgeschichte, invites you to the event.
