Argentina 2001: Julio Färber (Diego Cremonesi) lives in Buenos Aires and is a passionate bandoneon player in a tango orchestra. In view of the economic crisis, he sees no other way out than to emigrate to Germany, the country of his mother's birth. But then fate takes an unexpected turn. He meets Mariela (Marina Bellati) in a car accident. The spirited taxi driver gets on his nerves at first, but soon worms her way into his heart, along with her son Pablito.
