We’re screening the electrifying dance documentary THE BEAUTY OF BALLROOM as a Mongay Special, with protagonist and contemporary dancer Aurora “Sun” Labeija in attendance, who will perform alongside Leo Saint Laurent, Black Pearl 007, and Gwapo Laveaux. In 2015, Labeija entered the ballroom scene, initially as a member of the House of Amazon, before joining the House of Labeija in 2023. In the ballroom scene, he is known as “Asian Father Aurora Labeija.”
