In his latest documentary, JUNKIES OF DREAMING – MAHLER 3 CURRENTZIS, director Jan Schmidt-Garre follows conductor Teodor Currentzis during orchestra rehearsals at Berlin’s Funkhaus for Mahler’s boundary-pushing Third Symphony. The result is a cinematic exploration of the art of reinventing classical music and the magic that exists between the conductor, his orchestra, and the audience.
