In this unconventional Western, we meet two young men in Oregon around 1820 who see a bright future ahead for themselves in a dairy cow. A sensual, harrowing tale, featuring plenty of delicious pastries.

A taciturn loner and experienced cook travels west and joins a group of trappers in the Oregon Territory, where he is able to form a genuine bond only with a Chinese immigrant who is also seeking his fortune. Before long, the two are working on a successful business venture, although its longevity depends on the secret involvement of a nearby wealthy landowner’s prized dairy cow...
