Around the shortest night of the year, the FAF is getting into the Scandinavian spirit again: We’re screening Ari Aster’s MIDSOMMAR in the extended director’s cut. Starting at 7:00 PM, we’re also inviting you to join us at the Midsummer table in the garden for a flower wreath-making workshop in collaboration with Modulor

‎‎

Want to get scared, feel the chills, cover your eyes—and look good doing it? Nothing could be easier! Before the film starts, you’ll craft your very own Midsommar flower wreath in the most beautiful colors. Together with Modulor materials, you’ll use pipe cleaners and crepe paper or glitter cardstock and pom-poms to create your headpiece for the upcoming hours of horror—and beyond.

About

Several friends travel to Sweden to study as anthropologists a summer festival that is held every ninety years in the remote hometown of one of them. What begins as a dream vacation in a place where the sun never sets, gradually turns into a dark nightmare as the mysterious inhabitants invite them to participate in their disturbing festive activities.
