Åmål is a small Swedish town: there is little going on and trends only reach the town when they have already ceased to be trends. It's clear that 14-year-old Elin has only one goal: Get out of Åmål! Until then, all she has left are the cool parties at the weekend and the dream of travelling the world as a big star. Agnes has completely different problems: two years ago she moved to Åmål with her family, but until now she hasn't made any real friends.
