Following its successful edition in 2024, the 10th European Cinema Day will return to arthouse cinemas around the globe on November 23, 2025. Together with over 700 cinemas in 42 countries, we will celebrate the diversity of the European cinema and film landscape. This year, we are once again looking forward to very special previews and screenings in our cinemas. And once again, all at a special price – €8 per ticket, no matter which screening!

In Berlin there are also three very special events as part of French Filmweek: ‎‎

8 p.m., Filmtheater am Friedrichshain: Souleymane's Story – An undocumented migrant is about to have a conversation that will decide his entire future. ‎‎

8 p.m., Passage: Winter in Sokcho – A French-Korean co-production that also brings cultures together here. French Filmweek meets our East Asian film series In The Mood! ‎‎

11:00 a.m., Cinema Paris: The Taste of Others – The multi-award-winning dramedy will be accompanied by a live audio description on European Cinema Day.
