War has been raging in the heart of Europe since February 24, 2022. The Russian attack on Ukraine is also shaking German society to the core. Solidarity with Ukrainians and the will to help are great among many. At the same time, the awareness suddenly grew that we in this country hardly know anything about Ukraine, its history and society. Between June 12th and 30th, 2022, the Deutsche Kinemathek and participating cinemas in Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig invite you to a multifaceted Ukrainian film series, flanked by introductions and discussions with Ukrainian cultural actors.
