Anarchy has taken hold in the Eberhofer house: Grandma has decided to cut back and henceforth no longer prepare delicious cakes, roast pork and dumplings. Now, of all times, Susi temporarily takes over Niederkaltenkirchen's town hall as deputy mayor and reduces Franz's post to half-time. Fortunately, it doesn't take long until a crow picks up a human ear and a missing persons case that was actually deadlocked surprisingly develops into a tricky murder case that once again unites Franz and Rudi in top form as an investigator dream team.
