Camille Baker and her partner Martin are teachers at a Christian college in a small Canadian town. They are offered to work together as deans, but to do so they would have to get married. While Martin is very keen on the idea, Camille has doubts. Shaken by the death of her dog, she meets a young woman named Petra in a laundry who barely tries to hide her attraction to Camille. Their clothes are exchanged and they soon see each other again.
